This season launched on this blog the scarf festival: I am very delighted because on one hand it keeps my neck warm, and on another hand it is the kind of accessory that can bring, without too much effort, a slight more interest in an outfit.

This time, neither mini-scarf nor bandana but a skinny-scarf, cousin of the tie. Somehow, it gives the look a 70’s appearance, it’s fantastic! (English translation by Quiterie)

Lately I’ve been in a mood for pulling old clothes out of my wardrobe (those that survived Marie Kondo’s “Sparkling joy” test) but I like refreshing them a little.

For example, this blazer from Sandro that I’ve had for so many years. To give it a small “2015 Emmanuelle Alt” touch, I added a belt to underline the waist. Easy, isn’t it? (English translation by Quiterie)

Even if we tend to think that the looks from the Fashion Week are not really wearable and do not reflect the reality, streetstyle pictures outside the shows give me some inspiration. I just try to add my own touch and adapt the looks based on what I have in my wardrobe.

It was the case for these Chanel slingbacks that I have seen a few times. They don’t have anything new (except the heels) but the tip is iconic and it reminded me that I had a pair of similar two-coloured ballerinas in my wardrobe.
