Unexpected feminine discovery

I am in a constant pursuit of the feminine AND comfortable shoes… but rarely satisfied.

It is always difficult for me to find shoes comfortable enough to walk in for a long time, and which are also as delicate as my so-loved sneakers. I exclude almost instantly heels higher than 2.4 inches which limits my choice. In short, my endless dilemma haha!

Nevertheless, when I found this ballerinas with medium heels (hooray!) with a thin bridle a lot alike the Chloé’s ones, my hope came back! I walked during a whole afternoon with them without faltering.

You will see them in real situations very soon, but as for now, time for them to be in the limelight: let’s give them a round of applause, please!

Attention please! This is the ultimate post with this haircut because, as promised, I had my hair cut last week.

This angled-bob, I only say goodbye to it for a few months because I am already thinking about adopting it again this winter (if the new growth is not capricious!). Anyway, I really enjoyed having my hair a bit longer (at least, when wearing beanies or hats) but summer temperatures quickly convinced me that it was finally time to change.

While waiting to rediscover my short hair, here is the outfit I was wearing for the workshops, exhibition and chatterings at the Louis Vuitton family’s garden party in Asnières. You might have already seen a few glimpses on my Instagram account.

This day, when the weather decided to be mild, with a more than appreciable light wind, to enjoy the short break in the middle of this heatwave.

We are not rebels

Festival season is in it’s hight everywhere but the one I am particularly watching out for is Rock en Seine at the end of August.

Kasabian, The Offsprings, Interpol, Marina & the Diamonds will all be there (with many others) and having missed the latter’s show last May, let’s say I am very keen to check them out there !

My “Rock concert” outfit

Bonobo Jeans is sponsoring the festival and asked me to come up with a special outfit for the concert with the tank top from their Festival capsule collection.

I took myself to their Étienne Marcel boutique and accepted the challenge.

I imagined a comfortable outfit:

In the program, zipped pocket joggers (to avoid bringing a a bag and have free hands), soft slip-ons to jump around and not get our toes crushed (forget sandals) and a biker jacket in case it gets a bit cold in the night (and to have more pocket space).

Rebel or not ?

The message “We are not rebels” on my tank made me smile because in a time where the “Bad Ass” attitude is very in, it’s almost courageous to admit not being a rebel.

As for me, I admit everything, I am not anyway a rebel.

I am the kind to follow rules but I am not docile on every point (otherwise it would be quite boring, don’t you think ?) : I would put me in the category “disciplined student with a slight naughty side”.

About the last picture, I tried to get the rebel out of me : very credible ! (English translation by TradIsa)
