Hanami in Paris

· Fashion

Last year at the same time, I was under the cherry trees of Tokyo and Osaka, I always think about it with nostalgia: the unforgettable journey…I will never stop saying it.

This is why when I stroll in Paris, when I see a cherry tree, I imagine the japanese ambiance, the street food stalls, the big reunions with the drinks flowing and animations at the Ueno or Yoyogi park and the memories come flooding back: emotions, teary eyes, all that.

To pay my respects to my country of heart, I let myself be tempted by this t-shirt that regrouped the three cities I already visited: all there is missing now is Sapporo so all of them can be there.

And because I know you are used to my non-identified large jeans, I push the limits of the strange with the culottes! I hated wearing them when I was a kid but bizarrely since the beginning of the season, I can’t stop drooling on the culotte looks. There it is worn in a sober way but I’m imagining it in more… riské ways. To be continued… (English translation by TradIsa)

Here I am, for the fourth time, with these unidentified jeans which in the end your minds must have quite well identified. A new outfit a little bit more rock, because lately the weather has let me worn my favorite biker jacket!… and the espadrilles! They are different from the last time but have their own charm: for the woman touch, a thin Valentino style lace… and as icing on the cake, comfy.

We took the pictures at the Piscine Molitor, when Alix, our hubbies, and myself went there a weekend for a drink. I was quite curious to visit this place because I have heard a lot about it online. The renovation is pretty well done (you will easily find pictures of the pool on the Internet).

This time, I wanted to show you a glimpse of the cosy inside decoration… so comfy that one of us almost nodded off on the couch (but I will keep the name silent).

Since I’ve been giving a lot more thought to cooking, I’ve been trying to renew my cooking ustensil collection with useful and pretty things (you may already have noticed here or there). If, on top of that said ustensils are creative and second degree, it’s the jackpot!

Here are a couple of my last acquisitions: they bring a smile to my face everytime I step into the kitchen:

“Bowler hat” strainer Doiy

… Colorful “made in Japan” bentos (I had already brought some back during my trip to Japan, but they were a bit small, and my SO and I have big appetites), a yummy notepad (that I use for making grocery lists), a strainer that John Steed would probably approve of and lots of other color full things!
