Casual Tuxedo

· Fashion

Suits for women are everywhere this season … to my greatest delight! Worn with Stan Smith, it’s my ultimate fantasy come true!

However, I have a dilemma: when you wear it “casually”, what kind of bag should you wear with it? I think I’ll ban bags like my Pashli (=it just makes it look as if you have an urgent file you need to take care of for work), or too feminine shoulder bags, it’d go against the whole casual look.

So, unless you have a willing and comprehensive man by your side, how do you carry all your stuff around when you wear a suit? … A clutch? It’s the only solution I’ve found so far. (English translation by Bleu Marine)

Go-out jumpsuit

· Fashion

When I choose clothes, I think I already mentioned that I never think of adding to my “going out” garments. And most of the time, when I am invited to special events (so not every day), I don’t know what to wear…

I decided to remedy at that little by little by picking this jumpsuit that will be my go-to option when I flap about what to wear to go out.

It is sober, has a little breathing patch in the back and more importantly it is very comfortable…essential! If a party outfit can be as comfy as lounging in a fleece blanket in front of the tv I say Goaaaaal ! (English translation by Isa)

My “duobag”

· Fashion

Back to school means new school bag! …well, school bag…it’s actually much to small for to fit such a purpose.

You probably know of Céline’s famous triobag? It’s simple, minimalist, and quite pretty, but I never found it 100% perfect. I didn’t really like the press-studs that hold the 3 compartments together.

I don’t know why, but I always told myself that if a scoundrel (=I’m trying to get that word back out on the street) were to pull just a little bit, he could easily run away with the complete contents of the bag…Yes, I am a bit paranoid, I’ve been taking the parisian metro for too long now.

So when I saw this one, I thought it would be a bit more reassuring: it looks like it’s second-cousin to the triobag (a triobag with only 2 compartments), but everything is held together nicely…which doesn’t mean I’m not watching out for potential reprobates (=other ancient word I’m trying to dust off). But that doesn’t tell us: what do you think of my “duobag”? (English translation by Bleu Marine)
