My Petit Bateau x Carven dress

· Fashion

I think a good number of us where waiting for the result of Carven’s collaboration with Petit Bateau! Little preppy styled yet comfortable dresses, that was clearly meant for us! After hesitating between two dresses with peter pan collars that are being put in the showcase, I ended up trying their shadow sister, the quilted dress.

I was seduced by its impecable cut and the naughty side of the slit on the thigh. But as I didn’t want to regret the peter pan collar and the two other dresses (…And I couldn’t go for all three dresses at the same time), I thought, why not add one? I threw on a white shirt underneath: and voilà! Nothing more simple! ….whew! The Carven Spirit is preserved! (English translation by Bleu Marine)

Piccadilly Circus

· Fashion, Travel

Back in London with these pictures taken in the middle of Piccadilly Circus with a rather “local color” look. I hadn’t shown you this plaid coat yet, it’s sort of as if I had kept it especially for London.

Otherwise, these corduroy pants, you won’t believe me but I found them in my closet during one of my archaeological digs and they date back to 2000! I couldn’t stop wearing them at the time and I thought they deserved to be put again in the spotlight.

Aside from that, London was my breath of fresh air in this somewhat stressful time for me: I spent a lot of time at the Japan Center located near Piccadilly (full of Japanese foods and magazines: a dream!), had tons of fun at the Madam Tussauds museum (we went in there because of the rain but in the end we loved it: I was able to touch Robert, though that left him cold (or rather… waxy!), and the show of the Marvel heroes in 4D was exceptionally well made!), admired the twisted artworks of the Tate Modern and savoured a good British breakfast (at the Breakfast Club). London, I miss you so! (English translation by LN)

Carnaby Street

· Fashion, Travel

Last weekend, as some of you might have seen on Instagram, I headed to London to deconnect from the morose parisian atmosphere. The Christmas decorations were already up everywhere in the city, especially in the famous Carnaby Street. The colors of the Rolling Stones were predominant, and it was a great occasion for me to try out my pair of red slim-fit pants for the first time.

So here is my perfect tourist outfit to go roam about the city, using the tube, or going by foot or bus! If I told you I chose to bring food rather than clothes back from my London shopping session, will you think I’m turning slightly odd? (English translation by Bleu Marine)
