It’s been a year since I wrote my last “She’s got the look”… not that I can’t find any look I like, far from this idea, but even though I draw quite a lot for my work, I found it hard to find some time to draw for my blog (shoemaker’s children are the worst shod…). Therefore, today I just wanted to draw for myself, for my own pleasure (and so for you too).

I don’t know if you feel the same (I guess if you are reading these lines, it’s rather positive) but even thought lately it’s all about Snapchat and Instagram, I still enjoy reading blogs. I like seeing nice pictures and reading proper texts (futile or not) and keep finding inspiration.

I found the social media a bit superficial. It’s a bit too “ready to use” for me, I like going into details.

This new look crush is actually from one of my favorite blog lately. It reflects the simplicity I research. The person drawn here will be easy to recognize if you often read my blog as I talked about her not so long ago. I let you guess! (English translation by Quiterie)

A story about lashes

I had promised you a recap of my lash-extension experience at Les Cils de Marie in November, here it is!

The result is very positive, even if the first application was a bit uncomfortable (it tingled a bit, but for the last 2 “fillings” I didn’t feel anything, weird … the stress of the first time maybe?)

Since then, I’ve clearly gotten used to my long curled lashes, I don’t even use make up on my eyes anymore (no eyeliner, no mascara).

Which means I can’t really tell you how they put up with make-up removal (I just brush them in the morning and in the evening).

But I don’t hesitate to get them wet under the shower, and they’re holding up just fine. My real lashes also seem to be growing at their regular rate.

I’ll let you know more when I decide to stop the experiment, but I do have to say, it quickly becomes addictive: it really changes your gaze (at least for me, as I started off with really short lashes!)

These new lashes have such an impact that I just noticed they’ve influenced my decoration! (English translation by Marine)

Nude is the new black

I already showed you this almost “Mansur Gabriel” black bag a few times, which means that I over-approve it.

Still in a very good shape after multiple trips on my shoulder since last September. I had quite a few compliments about it, in vivo: people think that it’s real leather (but actually it’s not!) or made by a famous designer (but it’s not either!).

When I tell them it’s from La Redoute and it cost less than 40€, people always seems surprised (… which gives me a great sense of satisfaction!).

Therefore, I didn’t miss the chance to buy its spring alter ego in nude colour, which is still not made with leather nor from a famous a designer and, still cost less then 40€. You never change a winning team! (English translation by Quiterie)
