Finally it’s Spring !

· Fashion

Yesterday, we finally had a beautiful spring day, I hope you enjoyed it!

It was the occasion to wear my favourite Spring chromatic: pink-grey-white. I still find it modern and refreshing without being too girlish.

It was also the first time to wear these new sunglasses which are not particularly fitting the shape of my face (butterfly or square shapes are usually more appropriate) but I like the quirky “Iris Apfel” rendering it can give: let’s have a bit of fun, it’s Spring! How to tie a bandana

· Fashion, Illustration

This post answers directly JulyToSeptember’s comment in my last article who was worried to not be very manual and asked me how to tie her bandana around her neck.

« SOS bandana assistance » Hello ! Therefore I decided to show my 2 favorite ways to tie it. You will most probably find on the Internet others articles talking about it and the 1001 ways to tie a bandana in a more spectacular way but these two ways of doing remain classic.I thought it would be a good idea to show you the method with a GIF.

The DIY professionals will probably find it useless but anyway, if it can help!

Classic

Around the neck, the most common way I knot it. Before knowing this « technique », I was only rolling the bandana before knotting it, so I was looking like a boyscout. So to give it a « rectangle » shape has its importance.

Cowboy

I use this version when I want my style to be cooler instead of being a bit gaudy. Once it’s knotted around the neck, you may try to make it a bit softer and loose by pulling and adjusting all the sides. (English translation by Quiterie)

Bandana Sézane

Neo-Parisian

· Fashion

Here is another look with a bandana: I haven’t got bored of it yet, but maybe you have! This being said as the first purpose of this blog was to show outfits that we wear in the real life, the bandana supremacy in my daily outfits must be pointed out (so practical, not cumbersome and decorative at the same time).

Therefore, here is a new ‘Parisian’ outfit with a trench, stripped jersey and bandana, but the style is not too Parisian ’cliché’ since I chose a large pants with sneakers instead of a flare jeans and heels (which would have made it more ‘feminine’ but sometimes, we just do not want to be feminine haha).

I was not out to buy a baguette of bread this time but to eat a Chinese fondue with friends: the Parisian ’cliché’ is truly strained today. (English translation by Quiterie)
