Cette tenue est sans doute celle qui clôturera notre bel été. Ce week-end, je pouvais encore la porter sans avoir froid. Aujourd’hui, ce serait une autre histoire. J’avais envie (comme d’habitude) d’une silhouette masculine-féminine.

J’ai ressorti ce top en dentelles ramené de Montréal il y a 2 ans. Il a suscité pas mal de questionnement de la part des personnes que j’ai croisées : « Non mais t’as rien en dessous ? ah non, en fait tu as un soutien-gorge beige ! » (Technique infaillible pour que les gens posent leurs yeux à 1cm de vos seins)

En même temps, je ne sais pas trop quelle autre couleur de soutien-gorge j’aurais pu mettre en dessous : noir aurait trop tranché avec le reste, blanc également… Je ne sais pas pour vous mais cette transparence ne me dérange pas vraiment (il faut dire que mon opulente poitrine n’est pas très dérangeante non plus) car je me dis que je dévoile sans dévoiler. Allez, circulez ! Il n’y a rien à voir !

This outfit will probably draw this beautiful summer to a close . Last weekend, I could still wear it without feeling chilly. Today, I couldn’t possibly. I was aiming (as usual) for a masculine-feminine silhouette.

I found this lace top I brought back from Montreal 2 years ago. It had raised a lot of questions from the people I had seen: « wait, you’re not wearing anything underneath? ah, ok, I see, you’re wearing a beige bra » (A great way to have people’s faces 1 inch from your boobs)

Then again, I don’t know what other color bra I could wear underneath: black would have been too big a contrast with the rest, as would have been white … I don’t know about you, but this « see-through » effect doesn’t really bother me (then again, my extremely opulent bosom isn’t really a bother either) I just tell myself I’m revealing without revealing. En cette période de rentrée, mes quêtes sont orientées vers les accessoires de tête. Les bandeaux ont rythmé mon été. Cet automne, les chapeaux prennent le relai !

J’ai tout d’abord trouvé la casquette idéale de Capitaine Igloo grâce à un appel lancé sur les réseaux sociaux. Ensuite, je me suis aperçue que le chapeau noir de mes rêves m’attendait ici ! Toujours handicapée par mon tour de tête trop grand ( l’intelligence… voyez-vous…*), je peinais à en trouver un (= remake de ma quête du chapeau beige). 100% laine, fabriqué à Florence, prix abordable, celui-là est parfait : c’était presque inespéré !

In this beginning of school year, my searches are oriented towards head accessories. Hair bands gave rhythm to my summer. This fall, hats will take over!

I first found the ideal Captain Iglo cap thanks to a call made via the social networks. Then, I found out that the black hat I’ve been dreaming about was waiting for me here! Still handicapped by my large head (intelligence… you know…*), I was struggling to find one (=remake of my search for the beige hat). 100% wool, made in Florence, affordable price, this one is perfect: it was almost unhoped for!

Burberry loves Printemps

La semaine dernière, Burberry m’a invitée à découvrir son pop-up store éphémère au Printemps Haussmann (présent jusqu’au 20 Octobre) dans le cadre de leur opération « London Mania ». Pour l’occasion, un petit morceau de Londres est venu s’installer dans la capitale… pour mon plus grand plaisir !

Last week, Burberry invited me to their ephemeral pop up store at the Printemps Haussmann (until October 20th) in the scope of their « London Mania » operation. On that occasion, a bit of London came to the capital … to my greatest joy!

Burberry est une marque britannique emblématique et ce que j’ ai toujours apprécié chez elle, c’est son côté sobre et classique mêlé à une touche de rock. La forte affinité de Christopher Bailey pour la (bonne) musique pop-rock anglaise me fait d’autant plus aimer ses créations. J’en avais d’ailleurs déjà fait part lors de ce somptueux défilé comblant entièrement ma vue et mon ouïe.

Burberry is a british flagship brand, and what I always liked about it was the sober and classic side, mixed with a bit of rockn’roll. Christopher Baileys’ strong affinity to (good) british pop-rock music adds to how much I enjoy his creations. I had already talked about it during this gorgeous fashion show that had ravished both my ears and my eyes.

Pour l’événement, la marque a créé quelques vêtements exclusifs dont je vous montre mes favoris dans ces clichés. Du cuir, beaucoup de clous. Un plaisir pour les yeux.

For the occasion, the brand created a couple of exclusive clothes, my favorites are in these shots. Leather, lots of spikes. A real pleasure for the eyes.

L’occasion aussi de voir défiler sur de grands écrans placés au sein de l’atrium des silhouettes parisiennes (mais aussi du monde entier) vêtues du trench iconique.

It was also an occasion to see parisian silhouettes (and from all over the world) model the iconic trench on huge screens in the middle of the atrium.

Je me suis toujours dit qu’avant que je devienne toute fripée, tremblotante et gâteuse (si possible bieeeen avant, pour pouvoir en profiter un peu quand même), il fallait que j’investisse dans un trench Burberry (en rude concurrence avec le sac 2:55 Chanel).

Ces silhouettes me confortent dans cette idée : Ultra inspirantes, chic et naturelles. Burberry a nommé ce recueil de photos « Art of the trench ». En effet, tout un art.

I always told myself that before I grew old, wrinkly and doddering (if possible, waaaaaaay before such a time, so I could actually enjoy it for a while), I’d need to invest in a Burberry trenchcoat (great deal of competition there with Chanel’s 2:55 bag).

These silhouettes comfort me in that thought: extremely inspiring, chic and natural. Burberry named this collection of pictures « Art of the Trench ». Indeed, quite an art. (English translation by Bleu Marine)
