Montréal côté shopping ça a donné quoi sinon? Si je vous dis Urban Outfitters le vrai, celui qu’on peut toucher, sentir, humer… vous imaginez la suite… Cette tenue résume à elle seule ce que j’ai pu y trouver.  Mais tout d’abord, avez-vous reconnu ma combipantalon, portée ici en pantalon? Du coup, c’est nettement plus pratique lorsqu’on voyage pour… vous savez quoi, vous savez où (bref les filles qui portent des combishorts ou combipantalon sauront de quoi je parle).

Et à mes pieds? Vous avez vu? Ca ne vous rappelle pas quelque chose que je cherchais désespérément en début de saison? … Bingo! Les sandales à petite cambrure H&M !!! … sauf que ce ne sont pas des H&M mais des Ecoté (pas franchement connue par chez nous, cette marque) que j’ai trouvées chez UO! Un parfait ersatz des Suédoises : je savais bien que mon attente allait être récompensée! En plus elles possèdent un petit scratch à l’arrière du pied qui fait toute la différence! Pour le reste de la tenue, j’ai craqué sur une blouse dentelle transparente qui dévoile… sans rien dévoiler ( vous commencez à connaître ce que j’aime!) et d’immenses boucles d’oreilles plumes asymétriques: celle de droite diffère de celle de gauche ( très pratiques pour celles qui ont des problèmes de latéralité…)

Voilà donc comment j’étais habillée pour le Piknic Electronik, une sorte de Festival de musique électro qui a lieu tous les week-ends à Montréal pendant les beaux jours. L’ambiance y est très conviviale et certains choisissent de danser, d’autres partagent un verre assis sur l’herbe… et d’autres prennent des photos de leur look… Suivez mon regard…

So what’s Montréal like shopping-wise? If I say Urban Outfitters, the one and only, the one you can touch, feel…you can imagine the rest … This outfit recaps all by itself what I found there. But first off, did you recognize my jumpsuit, worn here as pants? Its really much more practical when you travel, for … you know what, you know where (well, girls who wear jumpsuits and playsuits will know what I’m talking about).

And my feet? Did you see? Doesn’t it remind you of something I was desperately looking for at the beginning of the season? … Bingo! Those small instep wedges from H&M !!! … except that they’re not H&M but Ecoté (not really a big brand around here) that I found at UO! A perfect ersatz for the Swedish ones : I knew my patience would finally be rewarded! And on top of it all, they have this small velcro at the back of the foot that makes all the difference! For the rest of the outfit, I fell for a see through lace blouse that reveals …without revealing anything (you’re starting to know what I like!) and huge asymmetrical feather earrings : the right one is different from the one on the left (very practical for those of us who have laterality issues…)

So this is how I was dressed for the Electronik Piknic, a sort of electro music festival, that happens every weekend at Montreal during the sunny days. The atmosphere is very friendly and some people may dance while others share a glass, sitting in the grass…and other take pictures of their outfits if you catch my drift … (English translation by Bleu Marine)
